A review of our debut jacket by Girl Gone Grit

It is always nice when hearing feedback from someone outside of Winter Grit…. especially when they’ve really put the jacket through its paces.

Olivia Mullan recently took our Mantle Technical Hardshell up to the Scottish Highlands. By the looks of it, it wasn't just a casual test! She took it hiking in some unpredictable weather. 

Reading her review made us feel proud

“Cheaper, in this case, does not equate to inferior.”

From day one, the goal with the Mantle was to make something that works for how most of us actually use a jacket, everyday wear and then trips outside in more unpredictable climates.

And it was nice to see that come through:

“A jacket that keeps up with your weekend plans, looks good doing it, and doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not.”

She pushed it hard in its glacial surrounding and said it “held its own throughout,” which, honestly, is all we could ask for.
